“March is National Tick Awareness Month!”
Wow, what strange weather this year! We had spring-like weather in Part of February. When the temperature is 4 degrees Celsius or higher, ticks will be seeking victims to feed on and potentially be passing along bacteria that cause Lyme disease. For this reason, we strongly recommend starting Nexgard, the once monthly flavoured chewable treat that kills ticks (and fleas), NOW! This will need to be continued through the spring, summer and fall months up to Christmas 2016.
