Behaviour problems can be very difficult to diagnose and to treat effectively. We can offer some basic consultation during your appointment with the veterinarian but do not offer specific behaviour classes. For more complicated cases, we can recommend a veterinary behaviourist who has specialized training in this field or for smaller problems, a local and reputable trainer.

Have you been to the dentist and received local freezing? If so, then you have had a dental nerve block. Most dental procedures produce strong sensory stimuli to the point that it affects the amount of general anesthetic required and a painful recovery.

We are continuing to see all cases by appointment only including pets in need of vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, parasite prevention, and more.
SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us.
We are allowing only one client per pet appointment.
Face coverings must be worn to enter the hospital.
Use hand washing station upon entry.
Washrooms will be closed to the public until further notice.
If you are picking up food or medication, please come just inside the door and stop at the small metal stand. A team member will bring you the order and collect payment. Please wear a mask and sanitize your hands on the way into the building. If another client is being served, we kindly ask that you maintain social distancing and wait until the client leaves before entering.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
