I grew up in a small town just west of Ottawa. Throughout my childhood, my family always had pets; dogs, cats and even a hamster. I grew up with a strong passion for animals and started riding horses and learning to care for horses when I was six years old.
Through my love for horses, I learned more about how veterinary teams work and I learned about becoming an RVT. I went to school at St. Lawrence College and was lucky enough to get a job in my position right after graduating in April 2017.
I wrote my registration exam this July and can now call myself a Registered Veterinary Technologist. I currently have 3 fur-kids of my own, Lucky, Russel and Leo. My boyfriend has had Russel since he was a puppy, and we adopted Lucky and Leo from the OSPCA this year. I have really enjoyed getting to meet everybody here at Kingston Veterinary Clinic, and I look forward to continuing to help take care of everybody’s fur babies!
